Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

Vivah is intended for individuals aged 18 (for women) and 21 (for men) or older who are legally eligible to marry under applicable law, or for a parent/guardian creating a profile on their behalf. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• One individual may maintain only one active profile, except where a parent or guardian manages a profile on behalf of a family member.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Profile Content & Conduct

You agree to provide truthful information about your identity, marital status, family background, and other profile details. You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Upload photos, text, or links that are obscene, defamatory, or unrelated to matrimony purposes.
• Use Vivah for commercial solicitation, advertising, or matchmaking on behalf of a business.
• Harass, threaten, or request money or financial information from other members.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute member data or profile content.

4. Membership & Payments

Paid membership plans (Gold, Diamond) unlock additional features as described on our Membership page. Fees are charged in advance for the selected billing period and are non-transferable. Refunds, where applicable, are handled per our billing policy outlined on the Membership page.

5. Verification

We may request identity documents to verify your profile. While we take reasonable steps to verify member-submitted information, Vivah does not guarantee the accuracy of any profile and is not responsible for verifying the intentions, character, or background of any member.

6. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, provides false information, or is reported for suspicious or harmful behavior, with or without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vivah is a platform that facilitates introductions; we are not party to any relationship, engagement, or marriage that results from use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vivah is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from interactions between members, whether online or in person.

8. Privacy

Your use of Vivah is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Vivah after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
